Callaway's MAVRIK Driver coming soon!
We all know this time of the year is when the leading brands release their new models. There has already been some discussion on Callaway's new MAVRIK range due to some leaked photos from the USGA conforming list.
So what do we currently know? Much like the Epic Flash the MAVRIK will use the same Jailbreak technology and AI designed face. It looks as though it will have a few different head designs; a Sub Zero model and Standard model.
The MAVRIK won't feature the sliding weight technology like the Flash and instead will have a fixed rear weight port, the Sub Zero model features both front and rear weight ports to adjust trajectory. The driver heads will all feature the Opti-fit adjustable hosel where the fairway woods and hybrids will not.
The fairway wood will come in two different models as well, standard and sub zero, again the standard model will feature a rear weight port whereas the Sub Zero model will have both front and rear for adjusting trajectory (exactly the same as the driver).
With the release due soon it is not known what the stock shafts will be and how it looks at address so you will have to keep an eye out on our Instagram and Facebook feeds for when we get the new model in and get a chance to test them. But it is safe to say with the likes of Xander Schauffele and Phil Mickelson already seen to be using the MAVRIK this year it is going to be a great addition to Callaway’s line up.
The MAVRIK range will be available at The Pro Shot Golf Club this January. If you are interested in a club fitting email us on email@example.com or call us on 01908 314617. As soon as we have this fantastic range in we will get you booked in!
